Friends of IREM®/Fundraiser Committee

Coordinate any IREM after-hours functions/socials dedicated to promoting growth for professionals of all ages by providing education and social networking mixers in a casual and fun environment

Coordinate and book annual fundraiser

Assist with publicizing any events

Recruit sponsorship at all levels from Friends of IREM/outside vendors

Organize prizes for winners

Coordinate Friends of IREM® program and review Friends of IREM® guidelines annually

Recruit new Friends and sponsors for General Meetings and follow up with non-renewing Friends

Legislative Committee

Update Executive Council and Chapter on all legislative issues

Have representative attend Legislative Conference and Capitol Hill Day to visit with leaders

Provide information for quarterly newsletter article

Keep membership updated on local and national legislative issues

Education Committee

Provide guidance to current and potential CPM Candidates and ARM applicants

Create and hold educational seminars and assist with monthly meeting programs

Develop programs for quarterly virtual webinars

Assist with coordination of informative luncheon speakers and locations

Coordinate meeting locations, times, and caterer/food provider for venue

Follow up with location and speakers to ensure readiness

Coordinate the annual holiday meeting

Public Relations/Community Service Committee

Assist with facebook and LinkedIn posting

Review any publications for accuracy prior to publishing

Organize and assist with community service/fundraiser planning and participation

Assist with coordination of informative luncheon speakers and locations

Membership Committee

Promote membership

Reach out to new members when they join and the general membership to increase meeting attendance

Develop and participate in career days at area schools/universities

Coordinate Annual Corporate, Student Outreach, and Young Professional Outreach Visits

Awards Committee-Function of President Elect

Select year end award winners to be presented at the Officer Installation event

Awards can include Jack Andrews Loyalty Award, CPM of Year, CPM Candidate of Year, Friend of Year, ARM of the Year
